If you suspect the pump has failed then use a multimeter to test the pump, you are expecting a resistance reading through each test but if no reading it would indicate an open circuit pump.
Think my Bosch heat pump is not working, when I measure the resistance on the pump power terminals they I get open circuit reading , what would be a normal reading? 1 Answer

If your multimeter is reading open circuit it confirms that the pump assembly has failed and would need to be replaced.
Hi my dishwasher is showing fault code E09 which I believe is the heating element fault, will this part resolve the issue? Look forward to your reply, regards Paul

E09 does indicate the machine has detected a problem with the heater, use a multimeter to test the heat pump which will determine if it has failed, also check the temperature sensor.
