We have the door and catch which are intact but the receiving housing fior the catch is missing leaving a rectangular hole in the machine frame near the door. Hence the machine door will not stay closed on the tumble dryer. is this what we need? Is it easy to fit? Thanks

I am not sure how to replace the catch. Unlike the video example there don't appear to be screws holding it in place. There are two screws on that side but they are much higher and lower and would seem to be for the front panel rather than for the catch. So how do I get the old fitting out and the new part in?

    If you look at the image on the right side you can see an area of plastic that pushes out. this catches on the case once the lock is pushed in place. To remove it you slide it up or down and try to push this tab towards the centre of the lock to allow the hinge to lever out.
