  • The instruction manual gives directions for washing the PRE motor filter but makes no mention of washing the POST motor filter. I doubt if the HEPA POST motor filter is washable but am very interested in hearing from others who are more knowledgeable as I have just replaced the motor and need a replacement filter in the near future. You can download your instruction book here: http://www.espares.co.uk/usermanuals/search?SearchPhrase=dc08 This suggests you can indeed wash these filters, but if in poor condition it may be worth replacing the filter.

Answer this question

My girlfriend was recently diagnosed with Asthma and we dont want to buy a whole new machine just for the HEPA filter as ours is pretty new anyway. Perhaps we can buy a new bin/assembly as well that will allow it to fit?
