If your clothes are still cold and damp after a cycle in your tumble dryer, eSpares could soon get your tumble dryer back to its full working performance. A faulty element will impact on how dry your clothes are during the cycle.

The element is responsible for creating the heat that will dry the clothes within your appliance, so without this part working properly your tumble dryer won't be doing what it should. eSpares could soon get you back to nice dry clothes again, with your tumble dryer performing at its best, in no time!

i have recently changed thermostats on whirlpool dryer awz541 but still overheating could it now be heating element

Hi Raz, you were right to change the thermostats first, they are the most likely cause of an overheating dryer. It could be the element which is damaged - perhaps an electrical fault. If you smell electrical burning, then switch off straight away and don't use - call an engineer or consider a new dryer. When it's an electrical fault like that it is dangerous for an unqualified person to mess around with it.
