We have removed the video showing the replacement of a thermostat in an electric oven. As answered on the previous customer, fitting this part should be carried out by a fully qualified Gas Safe engineer as it disturbs the gas supply within the cooker and for this reason we will not be creating a how to video on this product.

eSpares sells a wide range of products to both consumers & trade customers. Unfortunately, due to the nature of your enquiry, we cannot advise on repairs of this type. We recommend that only people registered with the Gas Safe Register make this type of repair. Maybe a good option for you would be to use a repair company like "Repaircare" who offer a fixed price option.
Can this item be fitted by a compitant DIY person or does it have to be fitted by a registered gas fitter. Does it come with an instruction leaflet.
- the part shown is for a gas cooker and the video is for electric, where is the gas video please

It doesn't come with instructions although there are plenty of DIY websites covering the process on the internet. If you're unsure about what you are doing or feel uncomfortable then I would recommend getting out an engineer as replacing electrical components can be dangerous.
