Washing Machine Door Seal - Sprung Band Version
The door seal on your washing machine is an integral spare of the machine. It is essential that you have a fully working seal, as without this your machine is at risk of leaking water.
The washing machine door seal, otherwise known as a gasket, is a very important part of the appliance on a front loader machine. It securely seals the door in place when shut to prevent any water from getting out. During a cycle, most washing machine doors automatically lock which is when the door seal does its job best.
This door gasket is a genuine Indesit washing machine part and will fit select models of Ariston, Creda, Hotpoint and Indesit washing machines.

Please note: for certain models two sizes of drum port hole opening have been used in production, therefore when ordering the door seal the method of fixing the door seal to tank will have to be identified. - YES this is fitted to the front of the seal as the video I found it very easy to fit and I used the original spring band off the machine. The rear band on the tank is more fiddly mine was hooked but with a couple of screw drivers they pull together to lock.
