The machine runs for a few seconds then stops, I stripped the machine down and the pump was extremely hot and stayed hot for some time, the capacitor had split on the top and a grey discharge the size of a golf ball was on the top of it. 1 Answer
I have a 2 year old Karcher K4 model 1.324 0050 which suddenly will not now swich on; no hum, apparently no power at all. It came on breifly when manipulating the power cable at the inlet, but has since been totally unresponsive. Could this be the capacitor or a faulty switch? I have checked all the wiring for damage and loose connections as far as I can. I cannot however find the right capacitor spare for this model on espares. Any advice?

You would need to check the cable with a multimeter to determine if the cable is faulty, check out our video for more help www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WZgprLndhU&t just copy and paste into your browser.
Karcher K3 Pump works when trigger pressed but pulses when released. Machine flushed out and filter checked.

We believe that it could be due to a possible leak causing it to pulse, check for a leak before suspecting anything else.
KARCHER 620M, ONLY WORKS IF I KEEP THE FOOT-SWITCH PRESSED DOWN AT THE SAME TIME AS I PRESS THE LEVER-SWITCH ON THE HOSE-BAR. 1 Answer
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO. WHEN I PRESSED THE BUTTON ITMAKES A NOISE AND STOPS, THEN I HAVE TO KEEP THE FOOT BUTTON AND HOSE BUTTON/LEVER TOGETHER TO MAKE IT SPRAY WITH PRESSURE. IF YOU HAVE A REPAIR-VIDEO PLEASE SEND ON. IT WAS ONLY USED ABOUT 10 TIMES IN IT'S LIFETIME. THANKS

It is likely to be the on/off switch which is stock code ES953245 so check that before suspecting anything else.
