You should always replace both bearings, the bearing seal and the tub seal when replacing bearings.

  • Two bearings, the seal, some grease (e-spares sent me the grease without me ordering it) is all you need. Watch the online video to see how to do it, and get on with it. It is not a quick fix, you need patience and the time to do it. Allow yourself a whole morning or whole afternoon to accomplish the task. It goes back together much quicker than taking it apart because it takes time to figure out how it all dismantles. By Nick - UK - 18 March 2013

Hi Stupid, there are two bearings that go in the F1245W, http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/electrolux/p/1085/15/0/0/502482/washing-machine-rear-drum.html and http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/zanussi/p/1085/332/0/0/104213/front-drum-bearing.html.

Hi Shark This part shouldn't cause too many problems to fit - you just need a screwdriver and a certain amount of patience. As the name gives away this bearing is fitted at the rear of your washing machine, and you will have to take a couple of bits apart but I'm sure you're up to the task. If you feel you aren't however we always recommend getting in touch with your local handyman or washing machine specialist. Good luck!
