The handle normally 'drops' onto the lip to one side of the mounting and slides sideways into position but this can vary depending on pan type.
Would this handle fit my belling cooker FSG60D OF in their handbook the spare is listed as 0822837005.

The lip in the pan is approx. 70mm in depth.
