I see that the socket on this cable is a three pin type. Can you please confirm that this cable does have live, neutral and earth wiring (that the earth wiring is connected to both plug & socket)? 1 Answer

This will be the correct cable as supplied on some Numatic models. Many vacuum cleaners are 'Double insulated' and therefore do not require an earth connection even if they are supplied with a 3 pin mains plug.
we have a blue numatic scrubber dryer with twin waste water tanks. the cable has a 3 pin plug at one end and a socket for 3 prongs at the machine end. As this is used in a school hall the lead needs to be at least 70ft in length.

does it have a square plug one end and normal household plug on the other end
