The microswitch is located on the outside of the oven on the right-hand side, it is held in by screws that secure it to the cavity.
I recently purchased a new lamp holder from yourselves because I changed the bulb & as I tightened the bulb it arked/sparked. May I say brilliant service, but since this has been replaced the fan will not turn off. The cooker itself seems to be working fine but need to turn main power of to stop the fan. Have you got any advise what part is now at fault. Many Thanks Paul & Su Bradford

Depending on the model there may be 2 fans in the oven, this may indicate a switch or thermostat issue, please refer to our video for more help www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lWk22-qvoI

If the switch has Three connections as shown in the picture it is a two way switch. The two wires should be connected across the N O and COM connections as these will close when the door is closed to turn the light on. Fit between the N C and COM to light when the switch is not pressed.

It is usually necessary to remove the top and back panels to release the sides. The side panels may have additional screws through the door surround at the front that may also need removing.
The same question as the previous one please - how do I get to the old door switch to replace with new one? I could logically give it a go but sense it would be better to go ahead with instructions! Thank you very much :o) :o) :o) 1 Answer

It is necessary to remove the right side cover to access this switch. To remove the cover you may have to loosen the hob top and move it to one side.
