The door lock on most CTD00's is Stock Number: ES865646 and likely to be the problem. However if this is not the lock fitted we will need the full model and production number to confirm another reason or part.

Answer this question

When I push the start button on my Hotpoint dryer, it springs straight back out. If I hold it in the dryer works, but once I let go, It stops again. If I change my LED relay & buzzer circuit board would this solve the issue?

The problem you describe is likely to be the relay board. Replacement should resolve your problem.

Drier heats up but wont spin, the belt appears to be ok. Would it be the relay at fault , or anyone any ideas?

If the capacitor on the motor has failed it will not give enough power to keep the drum turning and this part is a common cause. Check if your one is 7 or 8 uf and replace it if the drum spins when pushed to start.
