Washing Machine CESET Carbon Brushes
If your washing machine is making more noise than normal it may due to faulty carbon brushes. The carbon brushes conduct electricity from the fixed parts of the motor through the moving parts of the motor. eSpares could soon help you with this replacement spare and get your washer to its working best.
Genuine spare part for select models of Bauknecht, Bosch, Siemens and Indesit washing machines.
Please note: for Indesit model WDG1295WG these carbon brushes only fit those from serial number 80118. For those before serial number 80118 please use ES1062960.

These brushes look identical to the ones I need for my Indesit WN1196WG washing machine. However the part you list for this washing machine is part no. ES189236 which looks completely different. The motor in my washing machine also is a CESET not an Indesco. I am told that Indesit swap motors around a lot. Do you think that this is the right brush for my washer. Many thanks.
- check for serial number on motor

Hi Wsteve, I can guarantee you that this carbon brush: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/indesit/p/1085/805/0/0/189236/washing-machine-carbon-br.html is the one for your WN1196WG machine.
Hi, please can you advise the correct motor brushes for my Hotpoint washer dryer WDL520G 54732 907220264. many thanks 1 Answer
when i fitted new ones and put machine back together their was a clicking noise from 1 side of the motor do you think i have fitted them wrong and what is the solution
- New brushes take a short time to 'bed in' as the carbon ends wear to the rounded shape of the motor commutator where they contact it. Assuming you replaced them in the same position as the old ones. The clicking has hopefully settled by now.
