Vacuum Cleaner Hi/Low Switch Stock Number: ES1383541
Genuine spare part for select Numatic (Henry) vacuum cleaners
Replaced the hi/lo button, but still even when I press this and light comes on there is no change in the sound or power of the vacuum. 3 Answers
- Put new motor in still doesn’t change speed so must be the pcb motor control
- Not the motor, as customer states it does not increase in speed, more likely likely PC board. Not worth the expense to replace, bypass it.

it is likely the motor the motor is not changing speed and would need to be replaced.

Test the switch with a multimeter to determine if the switch has failed before suspecting anything else.

If there is no fault with the cable or plug causing a break in power the part likely to be the cause is Stock Number ES1400718
The Hi/Low feature on my Henry is not working 100%. Sometimes it does work but sometimes when I press the half-red switch, the machine switches itself off. I'm still able to use it at it's lowest speed. Is it the switch (ES1383541) or something inside? 1 Answer
Hi, my Hoover switches on but the high/low button doesn't work when pressed and the light doesn't come on. Is it likely to be the hi/low button that needs replacing with Stock Number: ES1383541? 1 Answer

We have no information on this but the neon is likely to be connected between the motor live and the neutral and the live in is likely to go to the end motor switch but check with a meter.
When I press the boost button the light comes on but the power doesn't increase.

The switch seems to work as it should (toggles red light on and off) but Henry runs only on high power. So it might be the circuit board, but when I check your last correspondence on this one the circuit board you recommend is Stock Number: ES1119666 But when I go there you say: "This part is not compatible with Numatic (Henry) HENRY HVR200A Vacuum Cleaners Don't worry we can still help you find the correct part for your appliance." Please advise!
