The control knob is usually pulled off then pushed onto the shaft of the switch behind it.
My oven knob lost when I moved home but I couldn't get the compatible knob for my hotpoint EK50.

Try swapping over with one of your other knobs. If this resolves the problem then the knob is at fault. We cannot confirm whether this universal knob will fit, so an option could be to purchase the original knob for your model number.
