Check for a blockage in the cyclone as this may cause it to pulsate.
Our DC58 was very briefly dropped in water and now does not work, I was wondering if the problem might be a fuse somewhere. Could this be the case I f so how do I repair if 1 Answer

It is likely the water has damaged the internal components, you will need to access the damage inside to find the fault.

The information we have from Dyson suggests the blue flashing is the battery is low on charge but if you have changed that is could be a connection problem inside the vacuum.
I have a DC59 which only operates for around 30 seconds. Blue light flashes 10 times indicating charge required. Charged until light goes out, same thing happens. Is this the battery? Charger output voltage is 26volts 1 Answer

It sounds like the vacuum charger is charging but the battery is not holding the charge so it is more likely to be the battery.
My dyson V6 animal cordless shows blue when put in unit, The light goes out but when we use the hoover it only lasts for about 3 minutes, We have checked for blockages and washed filter. Is this likely to be the battery or the charger? 1 Answer

Check the charger to ensure it is flashing which suggests it should be trying to charge and if it does not it is likely to be the battery.
I have a DC59 Animal Stick Handheld, it charges fine and when I go to use it stops working after 30 secs with an amber light showing, it will start again for 10 secs before doing the same - do I need a new battery or what could be the problem? Thanks! 1 Answer

We are aware that amber light is to indicate a fault with the battery. This can be due to the machine becoming too hot (possibly caused by a blockage). We would recommend removing any area that could become blocked and inspect for debris. Along with cleaning the bin, cyclone and filter if unfortunately your DC59 continues to pulsate then a new battery may be required.
Have a V6 cordless. When on charger both blue lights are constant ie no flashing. Then when they go out and i use the vacuum it only lasts 30 secs . Is the fault likely to be the charger or the battery? Any method of testing please> 1 Answer

If the lights are not flashing would indicate the charger is not supplying the battery, we do not currently have a video on this repair.

Check the charger to ensure it is flashing when the battery is connected and if ok then it is likely to be the battery.
Machine is cutting out even though blue light is on and charged. No blockages can be found anywjhere as recomminded as the first check 1 Answer

If the cleaner cuts out when moved or shaken but runs continually when 'resting' it is not likely to be the battery so check connections and switches.
