Universal spare part for fridge freezers that match the specification listed
My fridge light does nt turn off when the door is shut - do you think this requires a replacement bulb or replacement switch? 3 Answers
Model of fridge/freezer is KGV3120GB/01
- In my Bosch classic there is an override switch next to the lamp. Switch it off and light will work
- If the bulb is staying on then it can't be a blown bulb, id replace the switch.
- What happened to me was that the door sank slightly on its hinges, so the switch wasn't being operated when the door closed. make sure that your door is operating the switch before doing anything else.
- I don't know about Neff fridges, but there is one bulb in the pack. I used mine for a Whirlpool built-under fridge and it was easy to fit.
- If you're replacing a 15W bulb then it should be OK.
- Fit my Fridge/Freezer (SERVIS) okay, after all it is advertised as a Universal Fridge Lamp, so one would expect it to fit.

We have corrected the specifications, note this bulb is 15 watt but can be used to replace some 10 watt bulbs as well.
When I remove the lamp unit the bulb is burnt but how I do I get it out?

The lamp bulb can be removed as shown in the video attached to the part.
Will this product be suitable for a sewing machine. The one being removed is same wattage and volts and is screw in. Thanks 1 Answer

As long as the lamp fits it will be suitable as although brighter it is only on when the door is open.

CHeck the temperature is correct (around -18) and if regularly blinking check your instruction book as it may be warning you that there has been a power cut.
