Pressure Washer Cylinder Pump Head Stock Number: ES538427
Genuine pare part for select models of Karcher pressure washers
Please could you confirm if this cylinder head kit contains the internal valve set - 3x white values & springs (per kit ES538419). I can see the other valves in the image (under the red clips).

the parts in ES538419 are not supplied with this part. We do not think they will be required when replacing this part.

We believe it may be a leak so check the seals before suspecting anything else.

The cylinder head does have issues of cracking, it is worth taking it apart to check. Please check out our video on how to diagnose pressure washer pump problems www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WZgprLndhU
can I buy the 'bit' that fits on top of this part ..it has the 3 pipes ...2 black ..I assume its water in,water out [ both black plastic] and the clear plastic pipe 1 Answer
There is a minute crack in the plastic 'bit' that feeds into the pressurised water outlet..thus spraying everywhere

Hi, the white valve should fit in to the circular protrusion on the side with the three red parts. Hope this helps.
Hi, we have a KB4040 which has suddenly started playing up. One minute it was OK then it started to run a bit like a car running out of fuel. It will start to fade then vroom and then fade. 20 or 30 seconds later it would do it again and the time inbetween got shorter and shorter and now it is doing it all the time. Looking online a forum (Tyresmoke) suggests the cylinder head is cracked. Would this be your thoughts, also? Would (stock No 538427) solve this problem or would I need other parts? The pump hasn't been dismantled yet. Many thanks

Hi, I'll need your washer's product number to see what additional parts go in to this pump part - each model varies slightly. For help finding your number, check out this video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/pressure-washers/a/8/1172/how-to-find-a-karcher-pressure-washer-model-n.html
