Please contact our sales department and confirm your model number as you have provided two different model numbers. This carbon filter is also not made to fit in a carbon box so it's possible you may have ordered the wrong part.

  • We bought it for our de detrich hood and just cut it to size. It is working perfectly By mindy22 - Dublin - 15 June 2010
Answer this question

I have a need for some carbon felt, but NOT carbon impregnated felt. Be very grateful if you could help out please.

We do not have that level of detail but think it likely to be a synthetic mesh that is impregnated with carbon.

Answer this question

Do I also need to buy a recirculating kit as the hood is against an internal wall?

The metal filters can be cleaned or replaced, this filter kit is for a different type of hood. If your hood is venting through the wall you do not need a carbon filter.

Answer this question

The more I read, the more confused I become. Can you tell me the differences between charcoal, carbon and grease filter? And how do I find our which filter is right for my hood, please. Thank you very much. Kind regards.

Charcoal and carbon are basically the same for absorbing smells. The grease filter is to prevent the carbon from quickly saturating with grease.

We do not have this information available, However it should be a suitable replacement for any 'sheet type' carbon filter used in a domestic cooker hood.

Answer this question

Hello, we have an old Bosch cooker hood (Type DUH 650i/655i) circa 1993. It is a Recirculation model, not extraction and we have changed the grease and active filters regularly using a pack labelled GalleyMatrix Code CGF1 (60 X57cm) purchased from John Lewis who no longer stock this part. We have cut this to size as required. Can you confirm which of your filters is the closest match please. Many thanks.

Any of our Universal Cooker Hood Carbon Filter packs could be used but the size of 'one sheet' is a maximum of 470mm 570mm. If this is not wide enough for your filter you may have to 'butt together' two pieces and cover the join with a adhesive tape (gaffer tape).

Answer this question

We have no documents for this cooker hood, only the model number as above. It has two removable stainless steeel grease filters and is a 60cm curved model. As it appears not to be vented to the exterior it presumably needs a charcoal/carbon filter? Does it also need an additional grease filter?

The information is comets post code and does not give the model. If your hood has a black foam filter and a grease filter then this should suit.

If your hood has a method of fixing this to the hood vent as shown in the attached video you could use this.

Answer this question

I am using this as a re-circulation hood and was advised on purchase that I need a carbon filter as well. This wasn't supplied and although it is mentioned in the instructions no information is given as to part no/type which is suitable or how or where it is to be installed. Please, do you supply a suitable filter and how is it to be installed? Thank you
