I don't think there is anything blocking the connector. I've pushed in the tube as far as it will go but it still leaks. Is there a special technique or could the fitting have been damaged when i pulled out the old tube that was split in the first place? 1 Answer

There is not a special technique, as long as the tubing is all the way in the connector it should be watertight but if the fitting is damaged inside it would allow water out.
The plastic tubing which connects into this part (ES1639021) was split and I have replaced it. The part itself is working but there is a leak from the push fit connector. Can you advise how to stop the leak? 1 Answer

You need to make sure there is nothing blocking the connection that would cause a leak, also make sure the tubing is in the connector correctly before suspecting anything else.

If the water continues even if the power is turned off for a couple of minutes then this valve has failed. If the water does not run when off it is a control board problem.
