Fan Oven Element - 2000W

The function of the fan oven element is to heat the oven cavity. When the cooker knob is turned on for your electric cooker, electricity will flow to the element which then proceeds to heat up. Once the element reaches the desired temperature, the electricity flow switches on and off to maintain the temperature.

If the internal element filament burns out, this can cause the element to short circuit - and will lead it to fail. Potential signs that the element has blown can be visual things, such as a split, bulge, or blow hole on the element.

eSpares has the replacement fan oven element, that could soon be yours, to help get your fan oven back to the required temperature - so you can continue to make your delicious meals!

  • Yes this is what's required, watch the video online about how to install, use a decent cross head screwdriver and take care with the wiring, It's simple and takes about 10-20 mins. By irtimbo - clacton on sea - 18 May 2010

Hi Kimberley Without actually seeing your cooker, it is impossible to tell what is causing this problem. What I would advise is talking to your local cooker specialist and they should be able to diagnose the problem for you. And that's where we come in! With hundreds of cooker spares, we're bound to have the part for you.

Hi Tankdewis We tend not to use dimensions as an indicator of whether a part like an element will fit. What we encourage you to do is come back to us with the specific model number of your cooker and then we will be happy to find the right element for you. For help finding your model number, use our handy guide: http://www.espares.co.uk/findingmodelnumbers.aspx This element is 2000w and 2 turns.
