The washing machine is only 2 years old and is making lot of noise.

    The drum assembly includes the bearings which is usually the parts that cause the noise so this should be everything if you have checked the machine.

    The bearing would indeed be welded inside the drum, therefore cannot be removed. You would be required to replace the complete drum.
