Answer this question

I have tried the method of trying to shock the shaft free with a hammer and block of wood but it will not release. Do you have any suggestions?

Try placing a block of wood on a solid floor and dropping the drum and rear half of the tub directly on to the wood shaft end first. The weight of the rear tub will usually shock the shaft loose.

This is shown in the video on the part. It fits on the inside of the tub to stop water reaching the bearings from the shaft of the drum.

Hi can you confirm the bearing kit includes the new seal for the plastic case? Also do you recommend replacing the spider while the thing is in bits or is it not necessary? Thanks

The drum on your machine is not repairable as it is welded together and cannot be parted and re sealed after bearing replacement. It is likely to be cheaper to have a fixed price repair with Repaircare than replace the drum unit Stock Number: ES1634552
