Tumble Dryer Thermostat Kit Stock Number: ES487865
Genuine spare part for select Ariston, Creda, Crusader, Electra, Hotpoint, Indesit, Jackson and Proline tumble dryers
I've checked the parts were suitable, rechecked the installation but I'm still not getting heat. What could be the solution?

Considering you've replaced both above parts it could be a fault with the timer. This would need to be looked at by an engineer though as further self diagnosis can be difficult.
I have replaced both the thermostat and heating element but dryer still blowing cold air only - any other solution - help!
- Just make sure the stats are round the correct way and put them on a test machine to see if a current is passing through (good electrical hardware would help). They could be faulty.
I have a Hotpoint Ultima TDC62p Logic Sensing Condenser Tumble Dryer. The Drying light is continually on and the heating elements do not seem to go on and off as they used to do causing the washing to get very hot. Should I replace the thermostats as show 1 Answer

Hi buster, the thermostats are located on the back panel of the dryer next to the element. There may be a cover over the element and 'stats, but this can be removed by unscrewing.

Hi, fitting this thermostat is a tricky job, and I wouldn't attempt it unless you felt extremely competent at this type of fix-it. It involves removing the rear panel of the machine, and disconnecting the old stats. Don't try if you're not 100% confident!

Hi Jason. It sounds as if one of the thermostats has gone. Replacing a thermostat is a tricky job; it involves removing panels from the dryer, really getting stuck in. If you're not confident about knowing your way around the inside of a tumble dryer, I'd call a repair man.
