Have you checked for anything broken that might cause it to come out?

  • you may have a leaking O ring By Clive - Swansea - 06 June 2013
  • Hi Crippen sounds like you have a fracture in the control head as I did, this opens when the machine builds up presure and then releases it through the fracture, it is likely the fracture is under the metal head plate used to secure the unit head hence you cant see it, I know your post is long ago but this may help others as when I read the posts on the espares site it was no end of help to me. If the seals are ok on everything else I suggest replacing the control head housing. By Rob - N Ireland - 08 January 2013

When the vario power lance is attached to the handle and I pull the trigger water pours out of the handle. If I remove the lance there is no leak. I have changed the o ring on the lance where it connects to the handle and also the o ring where the hose connects to the handle but it still leaks. The pressure from the lance seems good and it does not appear to be blocked the motor sounds normal and is not pulsing -any ideas?

It is likely the O ring seal may be damaged so not making a watertight seal, check it and replace if required.

The O rings only stop a leak and will not cure your problem. Suspect a blockage or restriction in the spray lance if the spray is fine and the machine cycles on and off repeatedly.

The Chemical Discharge bottle will continue to fill up without any power on and then stops as the pump uses the water with power. I reckon it is probably a valve maybe that feeds the clear plastic pipe. Can you advise please which part /valve requires replacing. Mine is a K6.50Mb unit.

The problem is likely to be caused by Stock Number: ES1751853 leaking.

Answer this question

Hi, I asked a question on here about 3 or 4 months ago, as having not used my pressure washer for some months it had started leaking. It made a rattling noise when I moved it. It was suggested the fault might be the O Rings. I have a Karcher extension hose between the front of the unit and the pressure gun. That has seized onto the pressure washer, and however hard i try i cannot shift it. As a result I hadn't got round to stripping the washer. Today I finally got round to trying to sort it. Two issues: 1. I cannot shift the hose from the washer. Any tricks to loosen this please (I have tried squirting GT40 in there, but it is not loosening); and 2. I opened the back off the machine. The noise is two screws about 9mm long and heads about 16-17mm wide rattling around inside. The motor and internal bits are not attached to the case in any way. Any idea where these screws are from, and is the motor supposed to be attached to the case. Do you still thing this is the O-Rings? Thanks for your help, Stuart

The motor appears to be clamped by the upper and lower cases and doesn't appear to have any fixing screws. To remove the hose try heating with a hair dryer to expand and soften the hose screw fixing.

The pulsing is due to the leak allowing the pressure to escape. Disconnect and remove the case then just connect the water to the unit to identify where the leak is occurring. We can supply the parts once identified.
