We believe to replace this it will be necessary to remove the housing behind the control panel.
The barrel of the broken knob won't pull out of the control panel, please could you advise? There is no obvious way to remove the fascia of the control panel (e.g. screws/ lever) - if this is necessary, do you have a video demonstrating this? Many thanks 2 Answers
- Fascia was removed by undoing four screws. It was necessary to remove the fascia because when the knob collar broke, the panel behind the fascia slid out of alignment. This happens commonly. (Pliers used to remove the knob but that was obvious, the new knob wouldn't just push in because of the sleeve slipping out of alignment behind the fascia.)
- Use pliars it pulls out easily The new one just pushes in
Can I just replace the chrome knob which is broken or the whole thing

The knobs push directly onto the switch, they will need to be fitted the correct way, look at the end of the knob it has what's called a D shaft that fits on the switch so match it the same way when fitting.
Need new knob for Neff oven, is the temperature control knob and the oven /grill selection knob the same part 1 Answer
We need a replacement knob for our Neff oven E-Nr; B1442N0GB/03. I'm looking to enquire if both knobs 1 for turning the temperature and the other for selecting oven/gril/ both/light etc are the same part. It's just the oven/grill knob Clicks on each turn, and the temperature knob just moves to each temperature selected, there are no clicks.

We believe that the knobs are the same for both the temperature and selecting.

I purchased this although I only need the silver knob at the front. I cannot get the silver knob off the part so does that mean I have to change the whole piece and if so how?

It is likely that you will need to replace the whole part and this will require disconnecting, taking out the housing and removing the top. We do not have any other fitting information on this part.
The switch will push in and out but won't rotate at all . Es pares say it's the right part (2nd one they've sent ) neff say it's the same part no. They would send any ideas anyone

If the knob is not pushing in the shaft enough it will not let you turn it. Try pulling the knob half off and push carefully to see if it then turns. if this cures the problem try packing the shaft by dropping a small ball of rolled up kitchen foil into the knob hole to help prevent the shaft pushing in to far.
It's for an Neff oven B1451 N2GB/01. I was told the parts number is 188840, but this seems to include the shaft. I only need the knob!

We do not stock the knob separately.
