      how can test if the heater element needs fixing the dryer works for 5 mins or so then stops and cold inside the drum 1 Answer

        Hello, the most reliable way to test the element is with a multimeter. Attach it to the element to see if a current is running through it.

      I have a Hoover HNC180 I am fairly certain the heating element has gone kaput ! I cant see a spare part listed for this although there was one similar 1 Answer

        Hi Snook Narin, For the HNC180-80 and HNC180S-80 the correct element can be found here: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dryers/hoover/p/1088/107/0/0/669097/heating-element.html I know they look very similar but they connect differently :)
